Kevin Hoskins - Managing Director and Owner
Kevin has over 12 years professional testing experience and formed Q-Solution Ltd in 2003 in response to the need for clients to receive testing capabilities as part of a managed service as opposed to the ‘body shop’ so often seen in the contract/consultancy market.
During his professional career he has been involved in a number of large scale IT deliveries and has successfully implemented a number of managed testing services particularly in the public sector. He has a great wealth of experience in delivering test capabilities to a wide variety of clients from those with small but precise testing requirements to those with testing requirements based upon multi million pound budgets.
Simon Jennings - Principle Consultant
Simon has over 15 years of experience in both the testing arena and technical test management. He has worked in all aspects of the software development lifecycle delivering testing services at all levels. His background in IT and network design enable him to provide leadership in the design and development of the test harnesses, stubs and networks we provide for our clients as well as management of the various technical testing services we undertake
He has delivered a number of highly complex test harnesses and networks and was recently responsible for the successful transition of a major test network and infrastructure for a key government client.
Lee Flaxington - Senior Consultant
Lee has over 15 years of IT development experience gained within business and technical environments. He has vast experience in a wide range of technologies including C++, Java, .NET, OpenUTM, webservices, MQ and FTP and as such he has developed a number of bespoke testing tools for clients as well as integrating these tools with common COTS testing tools. Lee takes a lead consulting role in the technical aspects of testing and works with our clients to ensure that the testing capabilities available to them are robust, practical and provide value for money.
Rob Maxey - Senior Consultant
Rob has over 10 years of practical hands on test consultancy experience. During his career he has undertaken a variety of testing roles from testing lead and test management to more customer focussed Business and Systems Analysis. His ability to translate testing ‘speak’ into genuine business language that the customer can understand often lead him to take complete ownership of activities such as User Acceptance Testing, driving these activities through from initial requirements gathering through to test execution and delivery to live service.
